Good Cold Morning!

This is our last week until Christmas break! I am looking forward to many fun crafts and activities with the kiddos. On Wednesday afternoon we will be making gingerbread houses and having a Christmas "Party" :) Also, my husband will be covering the last hour on Thursday as I have to get to a play.

Just as a reminder, kids club will be closed from Dec. 19th through January 2nd. We will resume with regular hours on the 3rd!

With winter weather forecasted and a couple questions, I thought I'd send out a note about SNOW :) It should only snow on Monday's, but just in case it happened to snow another day here is what you should know....!

As stated in the handbook, here is how we handle snow at HKC

• We will follow the Issaquah School calendar for holidays and breaks. Also, whenever the Issaquah School District closes school because of weather related issues, we also will be closed.
• Late Start administered by the school district will result in the AM Session being cancelled for that day

Keep in mind that it is rare but could occur that school released early because of snowfall. If this were to happen, I COULD pick ...

Hi Families,

It looks like it is going to be a winter-like week! Please make sure your kids are bundled up with hoods or hats to stay warm! Rain is likely as well! I can't believe how fast the year is flying by! It is almost Thanksgiving...wow. We are taking time each morning at kids club to discuss what we are thankful for. It has been fun! This week we are getting a new kids club member and are excited to have her joining us! Billing for the 2nd half of the month payees will take place on the 16th. If you have conference care for Nov. 30th, I will add the additional charge for that day to this payment. As always, let me know if you have any questions! Looking forward to a great week! 

Just a reminder that we are closed on Veteran's Day, this Friday, as it is a school holiday. Also, there are still a few spots available for conference day care. Let me know this week!

The kids were great this week. We got lots of work done and had plenty of fun :) Thanks for putting them in their winter coats. This week looks a little rainy and is still very cold so gloves and hats might be a good option.

October 24th: It looks like the sun may shine this week! If so, we will go to Black Nugget Park for a bit after school! I appreciate seeing all the rain coats and umbrellas! The kiddos stayed very dry last week! :)

This week will be singing pumpkin songs and doing various pumpkin activities. I will have songs and the kiddos are working to earn a special snack on Friday!
